Samsung have recently released an application named ATIV Beam to the Windows Phone store. The application allows for NFC file exchanges between Samsung's Windows Phone devices and Android devices.

The application allows sharing of multimedia files across the two mobile operating systems, but the mentioning in the description of being able to send documents and music suggests that ATIV Beam enables the use of S-Beam over WiFi rather than Android Beam over Bluetooth. We aren't currently able to confirm if this is the case, but WMPoweruser claim that the application is exclusive to Samsung's Windows Phone devices, which further suggests that ATIV Beam won't let users transfer files to and from non-Samsung Android devices.

ATIV Beam can be downloaded from the Windows Phone store to compatible devices for free.
