BlackBerry, formally known as Research In Motion, will be placing emphasis on the use of NFC technology at their 2013 BlackBerry Live Conference.

The conference, which runs between the 14th and 16th of May, will be equipped with a number of NFC interaction points, allowing attendees to quickly access more information about displayed items and sponsors from their phones.

The company has also stated that it will be releasing a BlackBerry Live application, which will give attendees the ability to gain access to developer-orientated BlackBerry Jam sessions via their NFC-enabled devices.
