Adspace Digital Mall Network has announced that Blue Bite's mTAG technology is to be incorporated into the Smart Screens in 140 malls out of its 206 mall national network.


The Smart Screens will encourage consumers to access brand-to-consumer interactions by either tapping or photographing the mTAG card on the side panel of the unit.

Blue Bite's mTAG technology uses NFC and Quick Response (QR) codes to facilitate a variety of interactions such as the download of media (film trailers, music, eBooks, software), access to web-based software, promotions and coupons, social media integration, maps and more.

The mTAG technology will be deployed on Adspace Smart Screens and available to advertisers from April 15th, 2013.
